I’ve been working on a single-family residence in Bradenton, FL. this summer. The living room was the primary first goal to complete. The living room has a lot of doorways and traffic patterns that break up furniture placement. The homeowner needs to use this space as their primary living area.  We selected the engineered flooring, which has a cottage look without looking too quaint. 80’s ledges are always a challenge to showcase. I used metal flowers on both angled walls to create some drama and added a window box in the center to tie it all together, giving it an English cottage feel.
